We were very grateful to have 22 Year 10 students from St Patrick’s Marist College, Dundas to help with official duties on the day also.
The day started with a beautiful acapella rendition of the National Anthem by Seaview A. Commentators from all the major television networks are now shaking in their boots after Miss Kerrie put on a brilliant showing as our announcer. Mrs Brooker was hard at work in the dugout compiling results and Miss Stephanie did a great job looking after the team in the grandstand.
Special thanks also to Daniel B, Melanie M, Brandon N & Mia V, who worked throughout the day providing morning tea to officials, as well as running score sheets to the results booth, ribbon writers and results wall.
Thanks also go to the many parents who helped in a range of areas on the day including Long Jump and Shot Put.
The day was of course about competition and our children achieved some excellent results. Congratulations to our Cumberland Zone team for 2019!
