WOW! WHAT A NIGHT!
We had a great turn out for our school open air cinema on Friday 20 November, 2015.
The incredible amount of organisation that occurred leading up to the night was huge. Thank you also to the parents and teachers who helped out on the night. These events do not happen without a huge amount of work and support. We have an amazing school and community so once again, thank you! From a fundraising point of view the night was a great success. We promise to keep you updated on money raised and what this means for St Bernadette’s.
We would like to thank all our generous sponsors without whose help the open air cinema would not have been possible:
- Professionals Ermington
- Terry Shields Toyota
- Ada Carpentry & Joinery Services
- 3 Colours Painting Services
- Civil Logic Pty Ltd
- Credit Fix Solutions
- Tiger Do Martial Arts
- Terry Young Personal Protection Consultant
- Nazarian Family
Their support means that we will now be able to purchase much needed technology for our children.
We would also like to thank the families who organised the following:
- Steve Jupp & Michelle Uren (slushy machine)
- Nazarian Family & Sophia Mazzaferro (Kebab stall)
- Rheem Sateeva & Caroline Burbridge (Falafel stall)
- Dellas Family (BBQ)
- Carmelina Bua, Grace Tallaridi & Elena Modrin (cake/sweet stall)
- Claire Scott, Bryce Linstrom (Paper plane competition)
- Jim Morley (Lighting)
We are hoping to make next year even better.
Thanks again everyone for your continued support!

Yesterday, Stage 3 proudly showcased their Science and History learning from Term 2. In Science, students demonstrated their understanding of electrical circuits by creating a circuit and explaining the transfer and transformation of energy with just one flick of a switch. For History, students presented a range of creative projects, including podcasts, videos, dioramas, board games and more, showcasing their understanding of the voting rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and women. Their engaging displays highlighted creativity and hands-on learning and they confidently shared their knowledge with visitors. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and the impressive progress they have made throughout the term. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and the confidence they displayed in celebrating their learning.01 Jul 2026

Year 5 welcomed Fr Andrew to their class synod. Students collectively identified issues requiring attention and proposed potential solutions. The Year 5 synod addressed topics such as screen addiction, bullying, homelessness, poverty and school fee relief, connecting their solutions to Catholic Social Teaching and scripture. Fr Andrew commenced and concluded the synod with prayer. We appreciate Fr Andrew’s Catholic insights into these contemporary issues.
