Year 1 have been hard at work drawing self portraits and practising their descriptive writing skills. Miss Angela has set a learning task to encourage the students to extend their writing by using lots of descriptive words when describing themselves. To work past saying 'I have long hair', the children are extending their writing to be 'I have long brown, thick, curly hair' for example.
