It was great seeing lots of parents and grandparents who were able to come and celebrate Catholic Schools Week with the children.
It was a warm but wonderful day, celebrating with Red Riding Hood, Harry Potter, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, pirates and super heroes at the book character parade. As for the Fairy godmother, she is still trying to get rid of the glitter!
Many children, parents and grandparents visited the Book Fair, purchasing some fabulous books. Our school receives a commission from the sale of these books and thanks to your generosity, the school will receive $945.94. This money will be used to purchase more books for our children. Thank you also to the families who generously donated books for our school library at the Book Fair.
We hope you enjoyed your visit during Catholic Schools Week.

The Great Book Swap was a wonderful success today. We raised approximately $500 for The Indigenous Literacy Foundation. This money will assist children in remote communities access books and foster a love of reading. Thank you for your donations.
