It was great seeing lots of parents and grandparents who were able to come and celebrate Catholic Schools Week with the children.
It was a warm but wonderful day, celebrating with Red Riding Hood, Harry Potter, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, pirates and super heroes at the book character parade. As for the Fairy godmother, she is still trying to get rid of the glitter!
Many children, parents and grandparents visited the Book Fair, purchasing some fabulous books. Our school receives a commission from the sale of these books and thanks to your generosity, the school will receive $945.94. This money will be used to purchase more books for our children. Thank you also to the families who generously donated books for our school library at the Book Fair.

It was with mixed emotions that we shared memories, songs, prayers and tributes for the wonderful work and presence they have had in our parish over more than 20 years. They will be missed. Yesterday we joyfully celebrated the feast day of St Bernadette, our patron saint. The day began with a whole school mass where St Bernadette awards were awarded. After that, students spent some time in class reflecting on the inspiring story of St Bernadette and her unwavering devotion to the Lord. We spent the afternoon building community spirit with teachers vs student netball game, celebrity heads and practice for our bush dance. It was a truly uplifting day of reflection and fun!
