It was great seeing lots of parents and grandparents who were able to come and celebrate Catholic Schools Week with the children.
It was a warm but wonderful day, celebrating with Red Riding Hood, Harry Potter, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, pirates and super heroes at the book character parade. As for the Fairy godmother, she is still trying to get rid of the glitter!
Many children, parents and grandparents visited the Book Fair, purchasing some fabulous books. Our school receives a commission from the sale of these books and thanks to your generosity, the school will receive $945.94. This money will be used to purchase more books for our children. Thank you also to the families who generously donated books for our school library at the Book Fair.

Stage 2 presented their work to Year 2 and their parents this afternoon. They explained the design thinking process and showed their designs to their parents for the St Bernadette’s Garden. Innovative desgns using creative ideas and for sustainable gardens at our school.

Netball Gala day! What a fantastic day! The sun was shining and we got to play netball all day long! How could it not be a wonderful day? The boys and girls represented St Bernadette’s with amazing team spirit and fun competition. Thank you so much to the amazing coaches who trained the students and coached them on the day. Today we were invited to Ronald McDonald House to see our name written on the Superstar Fundraising wall…again!! Visiting the house is a truly humbling experience that fills our hearts with hope and inspiration. It is such a special place that provides a beacon of hope and support to sick kids and their families through very challenging times. Well done to our community for raising funds through Dance For Sick Kids 2025 to contribute to this incredible cause. Big congrats to DJ Louie who was also recognised for his amazing contributions 🎉
