Our Kindergarten students enjoyed being together for their first excursion to Calmsley Hill City Farm.
The students got to experience different aspects of life on a farm and meeting the different animals that live there.
The children met many farm animals as well as our native animals such as koalas, kangaroos and wombats. They got to participate in milking cows, whip cracking and watching a sheep sheering show, along with a tractor ride around the entire farm.
The hands on element of this excursion was a real highlight for many of the children!
As their teachers we were so delighted to see our students being so involved and trying new experiences, listening and participating throughout the entire day.
We had a wonderful day out!

This morning, our school community gathered for a very special Whole School Mass, during which seven of our students received the Sacrament of Baptism. Surrounded by their families, teachers and peers, these children took an important step in their faith journey, welcomed with joy into the family of God. It was a beautiful and moving celebration, filled with prayer, song and the warmth of community.
